Why raised?
Watch a cat or a small dog eat from a bowl on the floor and you'll see the stoop — head right down, neck bent, front legs splayed. A raised stand brings the bowl up closer to their chest so they can stand normally while they eat and drink.
It keeps the floor tidier too. Both bowls sit in one frame with non-slip feet, so nothing slides across the kitchen or ends up under the radiator.
Who it fits
The stand is 19.5cm tall at its highest setting, with 300ml bowls. That suits cats, kittens, puppies and small breeds — a Cavalier, a Frenchie, a Jack Russell.
It is not sized for large or giant breeds. If you have a Labrador, a German Shepherd or anything of that build, this stand will sit too low and the bowls will be too small. We'd rather say so now than have you send it back.
